                                       “I’M A LATE BLOOMER – BUT I’M A BLOOMING!”
                                                                               DIANA MARIE
                                                                   THE SHEPHERD’S DAUGHTER

Yep, that’s right, that’s one of my quotes! I penned it when I started writing at a later stage of my life. As many of you know I was scared to take the leap of faith to do what was being asked of me by the Lord. I wasn’t questioning His confidence in me (well, maybe a little!), it was my own confidence I was questioning. Thankfully, the stirring within kept after me to get out
what was in my heart…..to encourage and tell of His love.
“In the same way, your light must shine before men so that
they may see goodness in your acts and give praise to
                    your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:16
With the writing came a confidence to do other things that I would
only think about. I realized I would never know if I liked this or that unless
I tried. I also learned that if I did something only once and decided it wasn’t
for me that it was okay to move it to the “thumbs down” category. I learned
that anything that I decided to nix did not mean I was a failure. It merely
meant it wasn’t my cup of tea.
The Lord has put in me different ways to express myself and I want to
utilize them even if it means to get crazy with a paint brush or a can of
spray paint!
I’m a writer. I know that with certainty. I also know it doesn’t matter at
what age we get started on His projects. Just as there are plants and flowers
that bloom at different times during the year so it is with us. Allow
yourself to bloom during the different seasons of your life.
